v PADI

This is the first PADI certificate. Having completed the Open Water course (OW) course you will be certified to dive to 18 meters any where in the world for an unlimited period. The course takes 4 days and we do the course in small groups with a
maximum of 4 students to each instructor. The first two days are spent in the classroom, in the pool and in shallow confined waters. During the academics we are in fully air-conditioned classrooms where you will watch video and go through the dive theory with an instructor. We have instructors from many countries and you decide in which language you want to do the course. We also have all books, tests and quizzes in many different languages.

In the pool you are then given plenty of time to practice the skills which are important for your safety and enjoyment when diving. Even if some of the skills are performed no deeper than 1,5 meters you will be amazed to find that it is quite easy and that the diving sensation is very real indeed.

The last two days of the course you go out to the dive sites with one of our dive boats. By this time you feel quite confident and when you follow your instructor amongst the multicoloured coral reefs you will have to remind yourself that this is actually a course! The OW course is a lot of fun from day one and must be one of the most sunscreen factor requiring courses there is. To spend 4 days by the pool on the beach and on a boat on the Indian Ocean is hardly a form of punishment is it? We have been doing this for a while now and we still love it very minute!

Warranty
1. We are actually confident enough to provide you with a guarantee. If you do not feel confident in and under the water after 4 days we give you an extra day free of
charge and if this is not enough one more day, and one more... The same also goes if there is a skill you can not quite master and you and your instructor feel that you need some more practice. But do not worry about not completing the course in 4 days, we are quite confident that you will.

2. Under Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) you can find out what a “test dive” is all about. In our opinion the only reason to do a DSD is if you do not have time to do a complete course. The OW course takes a bit longer than a DSD, you
get a “real” certificate and do a lot more “real” diving as compared to a DSD. Some people do the DSD in order to test if diving is for them or not. In this case we are prepared to provide one more guarantee. If you after the first day in the pool or down the beach feel that diving is not for you we only charge you 25% of the course price which is considerably cheaper than a DSD. But what if you do not realise this until after 2 or 3 days you may ask. Well, do not think too much about this as it has never yet happened! However, if something should happen and you for one reason or another can not complete the course you only pay for the part of the course you have completed and we give you a referral so that you can go to any PADI dive centre in the world and complete your course and only pay for the remaining part of the course. The referral is valid for 12 month.
