PADI

The Nitrox speciality has during the last few years become very much in demand and is now PADI’s most popular speciality.

Just a few years ago Nitrox was something special and unknown and the word Nitrox was surrounded by many misconceptions in the diving community. These days Nitrox is part of the ordinary recreational diving and very popular as you can prolong bottom times without jeopardising your safety. Some people choose to dive Nitrox in order to further extend the safety margins as diving Nitrox and maintaining the original bottom times gives a lower percentage of nitrogen in the body tissues. We run the Nitrox course over two days and the only prerequisite is that you are a certified diver.
