PADI Five Star IDC Center
Lanta Diver is affiliated with PADI, the worlds largest dive
organisation. Lanta Diver is also the first and only five star dive
centre on the island. Our five stars |
we acquired after having been
awarded PADI recognition
awards for quality of
education, service and
range
of sales and equipment and
also for efforts made in
trying to
improve and
maintain the marine
environment. At the onset
of the 2001-2002 season
we moved in to newly built
premises
in the village of
Saladan on the northern tip
of Koh Lanta. We now
welcome you to an air-
conditioned dive centre
in three storeys. On the
ground floor at street level |

you will find a full range dive retail shop. On the second and third
floor we have our fully equipped (also nice and cool!) classrooms.
Last season (2002-2003) also acquired a two story building across
the road from our Dive center. In this |
building we now have
all our
rental equipment, plenty of
space for divers with their
own equipment to hang
theirs and also a large
workshop where our full
time Technician can
service and make
adjustments to your
equipment. On the top |

| floor we also have
our large modern fully equipped IDC classroom as well as smaller
study rooms all air-conditioned of course. On the eve of the 2002-2003 season we have, together with
Noble House Resort, built the first full depth swimming pool on Koh Lanta.
At Noble House we also have an air conditioned fully equipped
classroom. |
In conjunction with this we
introduced another
dimension to our already
extensive
education
program. – The IDC a
complete instructor
development course.
