Now that you are relatively comfortable with your diving skills, it?s time to practice taking care of other divers and preparing for emergencies that may happen. What you will learn in the PADI Rescue Diver course is self-rescue techniques, preparing and handling emergencies from shore and boats, and will make you much more aware of your surroundings and the divers around you. This is a 3 day course with time spent in our air-conditioned classroom, skills practice off the beach and 4 final scenarios on the boat. There is a lot to learn and some skills require more physical effort than others and can be challenging. But it is a lot of fun and rewarding. There is an exam, but there are some chapters to read and knowledge reviews to fill out. Make sure you plan enough time for the ?non-diving? part of the course. We limit our courses to a maximum of 4 student divers per Instructor to ensure quality education, and a more relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the course.
