Noble House
We have a special relationship with Noble House which is owned by our good friends Sue and Alex. The Noble House is located just south of Saladan: quite far north on Klong Dao beach and this is without doubt the resort where we have booked most guests over the past nine years. It is quite a small (twenty-three bungalows) resort that is very friendly. Indeed, we find that most guests want to return year after year and we are always happy to find so many returning guests around the pool. The standard is quite high and several of the bungalows were refurbished last season. The restaurant is very popular and a favorite eating place for guests from all over the island. The beach bar is a great place to have a drink at sunset, it is nice and peaceful but maybe not the place for all night entertainment as the restaurant closes at 9.30 pm and the bar not that long after. However, for those who do not want to go to bed early there are plenty of other places along the beach staying open until late. Between the front bungalows there is a very nice kidney shaped pool with a special children?s section. The deepest part is also deeper than most resort pools so we at Lanta Diver use this for our pool training sessions. The deep part of the pool is 240 cm deep! Each bungalow has a good sized terrace and many have perfect sea and beach views. All bungalows have hot water showers, cable television and wireless access, 13 of the bungalows have a fridge (the so called A/c Prem bungalows), all bungalows have air-conditioning and breakfast is included in the price. The buildings are very nice and well looked after and two of them have that little bit extra, that is the VIP bungalows situated right by the pool and the beach, they are slightly larger and have both showers and bathtubs. There are also three sets of connecting bungalows at Noble House perfect for larger families as the door can be opened between the bungalows turning them into a two room bungalows.
